CNA Certification
CNA certification is a nationally recognized nursing specialty credential for nurses. The CNA Certification Program consists of 22 nursing practice specialties, including Perioperative Nursing. Earning this credential shows your employer, peers and clients that you are a dedicated professional committed to lifelong learning, patient advocacy and professional practice. Certification is a great way to demonstrate your continuing competence in your nursing specialty. It can also help you fulfil some of the quality assurance program requirements of your employer and/or licensing body.

2024 CNA Certification Funding
Have you considered writing the initial CNA Certification Exam for perioperative nursing- CPN (C ) this year? Or are you due for renewal? ORNAC is offering members a chance to qualify for funding in 2024.This year ORNAC will randomly select two (2) members completing the initial certification exam to qualify for $500 to be used towards certification fees! One member will be randomly selected in June and one in December of 2024 ( both will receive $500).
Renewing members also have an opportunity to qualify for funding. Two (2) ORNAC members who will be renewing (either by continuous learning or by exam) in 2024 will be randomly selected in June and December of 2024 to qualify for $250 that can be used towards their certification fees ( both will receive $250).
In addition to completing the application form, proof of certification results and receipt must be sent to info@ornac.ca . * Must be an ORNAC member at time of draw.
