ORNAC is also seeking out those members interested in submitting an article for the journal.  Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Best practices when caring for a patient who is immunocompromised
  • Strategies for preventing postoperative adhesions
  • Proper positioning for special patient groups (eg., geriatric, pediatric, bariatric, diabetic)
  • Strategies for juggling quality, cost, and surgeon preference
  • Scope of advance practice perioperative nurses (APN, clinical nurse specialist, RN first assistant, nurse anesthesia)
