Who is N&LORNA?
N&LORNA is the Newfoundland and Labrador Operating Room Nurses Association. It is a special interest group of the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL) and is a member of the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC).
The objectives of N&LORNA are:
N&LORNA is an organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of excellence in Perioperative patient care. N&LORNA is also dedicated to the professional and personal enhancement of Operating Room Registered Nurses.
N&LORNA values knowledge. The knowledge is based on education and research, which are essential components that guide our practice. N&LORNA values collaboration. This organization collaborates with Registered Nurses within our specialty organizations, other specialty agencies and other disciplines that impact Perioperative nursing. N&LORNA values respect. This organization recognizes the worth, quality, diversity and importance of each other and the patient. N&LORNA values professionalism.
